Three autograph albums, early 20th century, two artists’ sketchbooks including a sketchbook by Dorothy Dunant (with artwork dated 1899-1901). Dunant, who lived in Beulah Hill, Upper Norwood in London, seems to have been a talented amateur, equally at home with pencil, pen and ink and watercolour. Subjects include children, animals, travel and holidays, theatre and comedy, with a section devoted to Alice Through the Looking Glass in the style of Tenniel; current affairs and famous people of the time, with sketches of the Kaiser and Edward VII, and a pen and ink portrait of Colonel Picquart of the Dreyfus affair. (5 albums).Plus some 20th century signed photographs of actresses and singers, autographs including Gracie Fields and Florence Desmond. Measures 17 cm x 20 cm.
