James Loder of Bath (1784-1854) - portrait of two girls with spaniel, forested landscape in background - 75x60cm oil on canvas, signed bottom right J Loder pinx, 1848, in gilt frame CONDITION REPORT: Four patches to back of canvas due to restoration of four small areas of damage to front. Surface showing craquelure, but good colour. Picture has family provenance by repute. Modern frame.

Ernst-Wilhelm Reinert KC OL S signed 6 x 4 wartime Hoffman portrait photo. (2 February 1919 - 5 September 2007) was a German former Luftwaffe fighter ace The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and its higher grade Oak Leaves and Swords was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. The Heinrich Hoffmann sepia coloured postcard photograph shows him in Luftwaffe officers uniform, and he has boldly signed his name in ink below his image. Good condition

* George Romney (1734-1802), study for a portrait of a seated lady, pen and ink. 8.8 cm x 9.2 cm, label verso "Anthony Reed, Cork Street, London", also labelled "This drawing closely resembles that of the priestess for the initiation of a rustic nymph in the Fitzwilliam collection at Cambridge" (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This drawing is in generally very good condition. There is no evidence of any damage, repairs or restoration other than minor discolouring of the paper. The piece is laid down on to card and has an Anthony Reed label to the rear.
