HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE (2001) - Wizard PortraitA portrait of a wizard from Chris Columbus' fantasy adventure Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Portraits were hung throughout the corridors of Hogwarts, most notably by the moving staircases. This portrait depicts an ancient wizard sitting in a chair while holding a magic stone. The portrait's frame is made of resin and painted gold, while the artwork itself is printed on to card. A sheet of metal behind the portrait secures the card within its frame. Marked "6A" in grey pen, the metal sheet was likely also used to magnetically attach the portrait to the walls on set. There is a break in the lower right side of the frame. Dimensions: 50 cm x 32 cm x 2.5 cm (19 3/4" x 12 1/2" x 1")Estimate: £1,000 - 2,000 M View all lots from HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE (2001)View all lots from HARRY POTTER - ALL ITEMSBidding for this lot will end on Saturday, November 11th. JAMES BOND: LICENCE TO KILL (1989) - Peter Nelson Collection: Bond's Passport Photo, Business Card and X-ray PolaroidBond's passport photo and business card, and an x-ray Polaroid, from John Glen's Bond film Licence to Kill. When CIA agent Pam Bouvier (Carey Lowell) took a photo with Q's (Desmond Llewelyn) Polaroid camera, she accidentally shot a laser beam from it. The resulting picture showed an infrared image of James Bond (Timothy Dalton) and Q dodging the laser beam. This production-made Polaroid shows a slightly different crop of the infrared image seen on screen. Accompanying it is a small passport portrait of Bond and a "Universal Exports" business card, which features 007's full name handwritten at the bottom in black pen. The lot exhibits discolouration, surface marks and peeling of the Polaroid from production use and age. Dimensions (Polaroid): 10.5 cm x 10 cm (4 1/4" x 4")From the personal collection of Peter Nelson, previously displayed at his two museums, "The Cars of the Stars" and "The Bond Museum" in Keswick, Cumbria, until they closed in 2011.Estimate: £700 - 1,400 M View all lots from JAMES BOND: LICENCE TO KILL (1989)View all lots from JAMES BOND - ALL ITEMSBidding for this lot will end on Saturday, November 11th. PAN'S LABYRINTH (2006) - Screen-matched Book of Crossroads Autographed by Guillermo del ToroA screen-matched and authenticated Book of Crossroads autographed by Guillermo del Toro, from del Toro's fantasy drama Pan's Labyrinth. The whole film centres around the book. Given to Ofelia (Ivana Baquero) by the Faun (Doug Jones), the book itself guided her to complete three tasks which will grant her immortality and return to her underworld kingdom. One of only two made for the production, intentional distress and markings on the cover screen match the book to the scene in which Ofelia is first handed it. The book is bound in leather, with a mystical tree decoration on its covers. Most of the pages are blank and tied together with nylon thread to allow the book to open on the correct page. However, one page halfway through features a caricature self-portrait and autograph from del Toro with a handwritten speech bubble reading "Genuine Prop 'Screen Used' 1 of 2 authenticated by Guillermo del Toro". Del Toro donated it from his personal archive to a charity auction in 2022 where it was bought by the consignor. Dimensions: 33 cm x 25 cm x 3 cm (13" x 9 3/4" x 1 1/4")Estimate: £4,000 - 8,000 M View all lots from PAN'S LABYRINTH (2006)Bidding for this lot will end on Thursday, November 9th. There are also areas of general scuff marks, in particular, below the belly of the cat and at the corners of the composition. The canvas is unlined and as such, the canvas stretcher bar is visible through the front. The paint layer has seeped through the canvas, being visible on the verso.
