Condition Report: The canvas has not been lined but is very slack on the stretcher with visible stretcher marks. Undulation to the canvas, particularly along the edges. Craquelure throughout. λ Peter Brown (British b. 1967) Street scene Oil on board Signed and dated 96 (lower right) 30 x 41cm (11¾ x 16 in.) Peter Brown is a Bath based artist, also known as 'Pete the Street'. Having previously worked in Ancoats as well as in London, he studied at the Manchester Polytechnic. He works directly from his subject, an all-weather painter of street scenes and city landscapes. He developed a vigorous en plein air style, and happily interacts with passers-by while at work. Brown is a passionate member of the New English Art Club, as well as a member of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, the Pastel Society, Bath Society of Artists and an honorary member of the Royal Society of British Artists. Queen - Original warm tone silver gelatin print-portrait of Freddie Mercury in leather jacket, Munich 1981, this is the cover image of Queen Unseen and the lot includes a copy of the book signed by photographer and author Peter Hince. 10 x 8 inches. Provenance: This item has been consigned by Peter Hince. Peter 'Ratty' Hince met Queen in 1973 when they were opening for Mott the Hoople, began working full-time for the band in 1975 during recording of their A Night at the Opera album, and stayed on as the head of their road crew until their final concert in 1986. No copyright is assigned with this item.
Harrison Fisher (1875 or 1877 1934) American illustrator whose work regularly featured on the covers of Cosmopolitan magazines. An original sketch of the American - British Actress Bessie Love (1898-1986), signed 'Bessie Love Harrison Fisher', framed and glazed, overall 48 x 64 cm. Provenance: Consigned by the daughter of Bessie Love. Also included is a copy of a photo showing Bessie Love with the portrait and a publication from the Harrison Fisher Society discussing the portrait.

Daniel Gurney (1791-1880) was a partner in the family banking business for over 60 years. He wrote several essays on banking & also works relative to his favourite interest, archaeology & antiquarian research. He was a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries.

A George III satinwood and marquetry inlaid tea caddy with printed portrait medallion to the front panel opening to reveal a two section interior with lidded canisters 19.5cm wide x 12.5cm highCondition ReportFaded to the outside, warped on the front slights, cracks to the veneer on some medallions. Some old worm to the wood to the front on one side. Internal lids bowed and inside re-painted. Appears to have had some sympathetic restoration ie polishing etc, general wear and tear to include some small bumps, scratches, etc. See images for more details
