A good enamel gold-mounted snuff box, the exterior painted with delicate sprays of bright blue flowers on a moulded chevron wave ground, the interior fitted with a finely painted portrait of a young lady with flowers in her hair, 2nd half 18th century, a little overpainting to the edges, 8.3cm.
A Meissen figure of a hurdy gurdy player, modelled by J.J. Kändler from the Cris de Paris series, wearing a yellow waistcoat and ribboned breeches, his right foot stepping off the flower encrusted base, c.1748, some damages and restoration, 22cm. Cf. Len & Yvonne Adams, Meissen Portrait Figures, p.97 for the model and the original print by Edmé Bouchardon.
* A Meissen double-ended snuff box, the exterior moulded with rococo scrolls around purpurmalerei flowers, the interior covers similarly painted with the portrait of a young lady wearing a flower necklace, and an old man holding an infant who tugs at his beard, gold mounted, some good restoration, 9.5cm. Provenance: from a distinguished private European collection.

A Sevres style green ground part cabaret set, late 19th century, comprising a rectangular tray, with a painted bust portrait of the Emperor Napoleon, tooled gilt surround with laurel wreaths, width 31cms, (12¼"), a teapot of tapering and shouldered form, with a painted panel of a courtesan, 14cms, (5½"), a matching sucrier and a cup and saucer, (the latter badly damaged), bears marks in red, (5).
George III needlework sampler, by Anne Frances Gower, "makt - this in the eleven year of her age 1810", designed with a house portrait, fenced garden, figures, gardeners by a tree, other flower and bird motifs, with a text within a meandering floral border, in a maple frame, 52 x 40cms, (20½" x 15½").

A 16th Century Brass Nuremberg Alms Dish, The centre embossed with a profile portrait of the inscribed `MARCV.TVLIVS.CIC.FRO.CONS` within a lobed band encircled by Gothic text and punchwork crowns. The wide border inscribed with the initials S & G and edged in punchwork. 16 ins (41 cms) in diameter. *
A Fine 16th Century Flemish Renaissance Oak Coffer. The slightly apexed twin plank lid above a run-moulded top rail centred by a shaped iron escutcheon. The four front panels carved with male & female profile portrait roundels surmounted by variously styled winged cherubs, urns and bell flower garlands. The flanking pilaster appliqués carved with cherubs beneath scroll capitals and above vacant cartouches forming the feet. 24 ins (61 cms) in height, 50½ ins (128 cms) in width.*
A Fine Pair of 16th Century Carved Oak Portrait Panels. The male head & shoulder portraits depicted in period attire within intricately carved roundels bordered by finely detailed scrolls of foliage defined against a punchwork ground. French labels attached to the verso. 7½ ins x 7½ ins (19 cms x 19 cms).
