Einzigartige Singvogeldose, ca. 1910 Kleiner Singvogelautomat in Dosengehäuse aus 935 Sterling-Silber mit hochfeiner Emaillemalerei. Silbergehäuse wohl Cisleithanien, Automat erinnert im Aufbau an Singvogeldosen von Karl Griesbaum (Triberg, Süddeutschland). Motivisch allseitig Napoleon Bonaparte gewidmet - der Sprungdeckel zeigt ein Portrait des französischen Kaisers im Lorbeerkranz mit militärischer Gerätschaft und Standarten. Die Seitenwände zieren detailreiche Schilderungen seiner Feldzüge, teils nach berühmten Gemäldevorlagen. So findet sich an der rechten Schmalseite eine Wiederholung des Historiengemäldes ''Bonaparte beim Überschreiten der Alpen am Großen Sankt Bernhard'' von Jacques-Louis David (1800/02). Aufzug des Federwerks über Vierkant am Boden. Kleiner Schieberegler an Frontseite in Form eines Vogels im Flug - durch Seitwärtsbewegung wird das Klappdeckelmedaillon aufgeworfen, die Figur eines auf einer Spiralfeder sitzenden Singvogels richtet sich auf und es ertönt eine Zwitschermelodie, zu welcher sich der Vogel dreht und die Flügel schlägt. Silberkorpus sowie Deckel gepunzt mit Feingehalt 935, Rosenpunze (wohl Sandrik, Slowakei), Meisterpunze ''RS'' sowie einer weiteren verschlagenen Punze (wohl Wiener Prüfstempel). 10 x 6 x 4 cm. Federkleid der Vogelfigur locker, Bewegung nicht gegeben. Läuft an. Singing bird box with fine enemal painting of scenes from Napoleon Bonaparte's military life. Around 1910. Silver case pres. Cisleithania; automat reminds in form and design on singing bird boxes by Karl Griesbaum (Southern Germany). Miniature automat in silver box (935) with enamel painting. Manual wind movement over key on bottom. To be released via small silver bird on front of box - top medaillon opens, small fake bird springs up, rotates, flaps the wings and a chirping melody will be played. Silver corpus with hallmarks 935 and rose (pres. Sandrik, Slovakia), hallmark RS as well as another not recognizable hallmark (pres. Vienna). Feathers of the small bird loose. Bird movements not given. Starts.

WW2 heroes signed RAF Jubilee Ltd Edition Eric Kennington Portrait Prints. Rare WW2 signed prints The RAF Jubilee Limited Edition. This portfolio of prints was produced in 1979 to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund. It consists of four high quality prints taken from paintings by artist Eric Kennington, which he painted in 1940 of famous WWII airmen. Each one measures 14" x 10" and they are personally autographed by the airmen in question: Douglas Bader, James "Ginger" Lacey, John Cunningham and Rod Learoyd VC. They come supplied in a gold printed presentation folio, complete with RAF ribbon, and Certificate of authenticity signed by AM Sir Denis Crowley-Milling on behalf of the RAF Benevolent Fund. The Lacey print has tiny crease to top and small tear. Good condition Est.
