English school, 19th century, a portrait of a young girl amongst flowers and foliage, within a painted arch, oil on canvas, 62 x 48 cm See illustration Condition report Report by RB It appears to have had a harsh ish life. It has been cleaned and relined, originally a painted arch which you should be able to see clearly from the top corners, probably some areas of retouching especially to the very top and very bottom, I expect where paint has flaked away, clearly heavily cleaned also as the canvas is showing in extreme points.
