Glenpark was built for The Glenpark Steam Ship Co Ltd for the Tyne-London-Tyne run. In 1915 she was aquired by the South Metropolitan Gas Co. and renamed `Quaggy`. In the same year whilst transporting coal, hit a mine and sunk 3 miles off North Creek ,Robin Hood`s Bay.
