A CHINESE SCHOOL ANCESTOR PORTRAIT of an elderly woman seated on a throne, watercolour, 31 1/2" x 15", together with further oriental watercolour painting of figures within a landscape, 24" x 40", and a Chinese embroidered picture of a man dancing holding a gourd tied to a crutch held above his head, 23" high x 12" wide (3).
Caietanus (n Praedicabilia Porphyrii 1599 double column title with large woodcut portrait and early ink inscriptions scored through a few woodcut diagrams occasional light staining mostly marginal contemporary limp vellum early ink inscription to upper cover small hole to middle of spine a few splits to edges some staining [not in Adams] scarce folio Venice apud Hæredem Hieronymi Scoti 1599.
Rabelais (François) Oeuvres 1732 6 vol. in 5 half-titles and titles printed in red and black engraved additional pictorial title portrait folding map and 3 plates a few minor stains or scorch marks but generally crisp and clean contemporary vellum ink titles and paper labels to spines a very good set 12mo [Paris] [Prault] 1732.
