The small portrait has no obvious faults to report. The larger portrait has some undulations across the ivory and both vertical edges are slightly curling upwards. There appears to be some minor scuffing to areas across the surface of the larger portrait, most notably in the upper right-hand corner. The paintings are both framed and glazed. The frames have some minor scuffs and scratches commensurate with age.
