Augustus Edwin John (English, 1878-1961), SELF PORTRAIT, red chalk on paper, 19 by 30cm. 7.5 by 12in. Inscription on reverse reads, "This picture was originally given to Miss Kathleen Herbert (of Macroom, Co Cork) by Augustus John when they were fellow students at the Slade. Andrew Dunn (fl.1800-1820), HARRIET, DAUGHTER OF GEORGE KIERNAN, signed and dated [1807] lower right, enamel on porcelain (miniature), 9 by 7cm. 3.5 by 2.75in. A nineteenth century inscription on the reverse reads: "This is supposed to be a portrait of Harriet daughter of George Kiernan of Blackhall and Drumcondra Co. Dublin. She was born 10th August 1781.
