A large Della Robbia pottery two handled vase, late 19th/early 20th Century, decorated by Madame Marianne de Caluwé, monogrammed, to one side a portrait of a girl above the inscription `S. Botticelli`, to the reverse a tree wrapped with a ribbon banner inscribed "`O Alma Mater Redemptoris", Chaucer`, within foliate framing, flanked by loop handles with mask terminals, incised and painted marks to base, height approx 38cm.
A PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY BOHEMIAN OVERLAY GLASS TABLE LUSTRES, each bowl having a Gothic arch arcaded rim with oval painted portrait medallions alternating with foliate medallions, the green ground painted in gilt with scrolls, the suspended pendants or drops enclosing the hexagonal stem, raised on a circular foot painted with geometric floral reserves. 31.5cm(h)
A ROYAL DOULTON HAND-DECORATED LIDDED BOWL, early 20th century, having a finial topped inverted trumpet form cover, a shaped scrolling rim and handles, the tapering oval body hand-painted with a portrait of a young gilt within a gilt scrolling reserve, signed H Boullemier, the cream ground decorated with gilt floral designs, on a down swept base with lobed feet, printed mark to underside. 21.5cm(h)

PHOTOGRAPHS, PORTRAITS. - Wm. COOK (photographer). An ambrotype portrait photograph of a man seated with a dog. Jersey: [n.d. but circa 1858-1861.] (70 x 57mm.) Within a pressed metal mount and original leather case with label `From Mr Wm. Cook`s Photographic Rooms, 13, Bath Street, Jersey`. - And thirteen other ambrotype photographic portraits, including one in a leather case stamped `Farmer`s Photographic Portraits 59 North Street Brighton`.

[London:] Beard`s Photographic Institutions, [circa 1841-1851] (50 x 40mm and larger). All within leather cases, some mounts or cases with Beard patent or `Beard`s Photographic Institute` blocked in gilt.
Byron – Anne Isabella Noel Byron autograph letter in the third person by Lady Byron dated June 2nd 1834 to Mr Stodard Pianoforte Maker of Golden Square saying that ‘ she begs for the piano forte which she hired and begs Mr Stodard to send the bill at the same time...’ Byron’s widow is famous in her own right as a social reformer particular for prison reform and for the abolition of slavery. The letter is affixed to an album leaf which also features a third person autograph letter of the Marquis of Salisbury an engraved portrait of George IV taken from an Irish document.
Autographs – Royalty – George III and George IV album leaf with the signatures of George III (mad example) and George IV as King both cut from larger documents affixed to the same leaf is a facsimile of a letter of Sir Walter Scott and two other items together with an Irish commission document on vellum featuring an engraved portrait of George IV (somewhat dusty and creased but legible throughout)
Darwin – Portrait of Charles Darwin Oil on canvas c1870s – 65cm wide x 40cm – Circle of John Collier (1850-1934). The overall style and handling of the piece certainly points to the late 19th century c1860/70s. The modelling comparable to the academic schools of the Royal Academy and Paris. A similarity between this and examples by the artist John Collier (1850-1934) reveal a striking similarity most notably to the clothing and treatment of the beard. Some damage requiring conservation but nevertheless a fine portrait.
India Islamic – Sikh Hari Singh Nalwa Khan 19th Century painting. A large miniature painting on ivory of the son of Dost Mohammad Akbar Khan the son of Dost Mohammad – who murdered the great Sikh genereal Hari Singh Nalwa c1830-1850. Old English inscription verso – reads “Akbar Khan the son of Dost Mohammad. Amir Akbar famously known as Wazir Akbar Khan was an Afghan Prince a general a tribal leader and Emir. In 1837 in the battle of Jamrud he killed Sikh general Hari Singh Nalwa in a planned tyrantical way by conspiring whilst trying to get back the city of Peshawar for the Afghans from the Sikh army but Akbar Khan failed to do so. A historical portrait of Sikh and Islamic interest. Watercolour 9.5cm x 7.5cm framed. Provenance – private English collection.
A RARE, HISTORICAL IRAQI NIELLOWORK & ENAMELLED MOSQUE CANDLESTICK in the form of a shallow circular cup with a scroll handle, the interior with a minaret-shaped "pricket" flanked by engraving & polychrome enamelled floral sprays, a signature, two crossed Iraqi flags & a Royal crown, the sides nielloed with a frieze of oval reserves separated by a floral ground & depicting scenes of architecture & the river Tigris, an equestrian figure, an inscription and a portrait of King Faisal I, the base engraved with a six-petalled flowerhead & inscribed "WINNER GOLD MEDAL IRAQ - BAGHDAD EXHIBITION 1922"; 5.5" (14 cms) diameter; 12.25 oz
