STUART SUTCLIFFE Three pages of life studies taken from various art school sketch books circa 1960: two from a small sketch book each depicting a backview of a naked model in black ink and wash, both -- 7x4 1/2in. A late 19th Century French gilt metal mantel clock, fitted eight day striking movement by Japy Frere, the case ornately decorated with Paris porcelain panels painted with female bust portrait, flowers and a cherub, surmounted by an urn finial with floral swags, the movement flanked by porcelain pillars and urns, raised on an ornate base with turned feet, 14 1/2in. x 18 1/2in. high.
