Circle of Sir William Ross - Oval Miniature Portrait of a Gentleman, possibly George Villiers, Earl of Clarendon, wearing a Black Stock and White Shirt, early/mid-19th Century watercolour on ivory, inscribed verso, approx 5cm x 4cm, within an oval gilt metal mount and frame, together with two similar miniatures, Portraits of Lady Maria Villiers and Henry Montague Villiers, Bishop of Durham.
A late 19th Century sailor's woolwork picture depicting a masted steamship in profile within an oval floral and leaf border, with attached flags and ensigns and with two sepia portrait photographs flanking the central panel, worked in coloured wools in long and short stitches, approx 31.5cm x 47cm.

Several medals cased (though several water damaged), the medals mostly very fine and better (some named), and representing important association items with a man who, for many years, was at the heart of the British political scene. Emmanuel Levy Portrait of a boy oil Emmanuel Levy (1900 - 1986) Portrait of a boy exhibition label on verso oil on board 91 x 51cm.; 35.75 x 20in. * Studied at in Manchester and St. Martin's School of Art London and Paris. Taught drawing and painting at Manchester University and Stockport School of Art. Had six solo shows in Manchester between 1925 - 63 plus a number in London. There was a retrospective at Salford City Art Gallery 1948; another at Fieldborne Galleries 1976; and one at Stockport Art Gallery 1982. National Portrait Gallery Ben Uri Gallery and galleries in Manchester Stockport and Salford hold his work.

(1932 - ) Afternoon Light signed inscribed and dated '84 in pencil in the margin artists proof etching image size 26.5 x 25cm.; 10.5 x 10in. * Studied at Coventry School of Art (1945 -6). From early 1950's he was feature in Royal Academy Summer Exhibition shows and had regular solo shows at Piccadilly Gallery. By 1957 he had a retrospective at Coventry's Herbert Art Gallery. Exhibited extensively. Was for a time Ruskin Master of Drawing at Oxford University. Tate Gallery Manchester City Art Gallery National Portrait Gallery and many other public collections hold his work.
