A LATE 18TH CENTURY MILANESE WALNUT AND IVORY MARQUETRY PETIT COMMODE of concave fronted outline, decorated with panels of scrolling floral foliage, husks, figures and birds, bordered with ivory lines, the top centred by a roundel with male bust portrait, having an ebonised moulded edge, containing two deep drawers in the shaped apron, the sides decorated with cherubs on plinths, raised on cabriole legs, 52cm (1ft 8 1/2in) wide.
