Surface apparently intact (despite the unusual medium). Original frame.
ATTRIBUTED TO THOMAS BEACH (1738-1806) PORTRAIT OF A LADY, POSSIBLY A MEMBER OF THE SIDNEY FAMILY Quarter length, wearing a blue dress and holding a nosegay, within a painted oval, oil on canvas 59.5 x 49.5cm. ++ Later stretchers, relined. Surface with some craquelure and old minor faults. Needs a clean.
