Attributed to Adam Buck (1759 - 1833), miniature watercolour portrait on paper of a seated gentleman, named verso as John William Norie 1772 - 1843, 19cm x 16cm, original carved gilt frame, inscribed verso - 'Copied in watercolour by Buck from a portrait by Williams'.N.B. John William Norie was a notable supplier of material to the marine trade, specialising in publishing and the sale of nautical and navigational charts - his clients included the British Admiralty and East India Company. Many of his publications became standard text and continued to be reprinted until recent times. Another version of the same image is in the National Portrait Gallery
An interesting fixed paddle theatre souvenir fan, the wooded leaf painted with portrait of a gentleman, said to be the Actor Henry Irving as Hamlet, signed to reverse, (28cm) together with an Edwardian fixed theatre fan for The Runaway Boy produced by The marquis of Anglesey's Company dated Monday 25th August 1902, and three other paper folding fans, one with watercolour painted leaf of actors dressed as farm animals circa 1900 and signed by Jean Coynet, carved guard of a cockerel (5)
Mid 19th Century Spanish Fan, double paper leaf printed and hand painted with soldiers ranked outside 'El Valle de Andorra', the lower right printed 'A.PASCUAL Y ABAD'. The verso with individuals preparing for battle, both sides edged with gilt scrolls and hand painted flowers. Sticks and guards of pierced and carved bone embellished with gilt. The upper guard with profile portrait, the reverse guard with a mirror (27cm)

Alan Coleman (British, 1920-1998): a Welsh rural scene depicting a cottage beside a river, with a series of small waterfalls and a mother in Welsh costume with a child, walking in the foreground, watercolour, signed lower right, 25 by 44cm, framed, 41 by 60cm. Two further watercolours include, 'The Maidens, Kinlochlaven', dated 1948 with monogram, 20 by 26cm, and a study of an Alpine lake, with dedication verso dated 1880, 25 by 29cm, in composite frame, 38 by 42cm, together with Jens Vestbirk (Danish, 20th century): a contemporary portrait study of a young man in a café, with bottles, books and cup on the table in the foreground, oil on board, 72 by 46cm, framed, 82 by 56cm and an interior study of a man in prison, 76 by 50cm. Louis Busiere (French, 1880-1960): after John Downman (Welsh, 1750-1824): a portrait of a lady, in white cap and ruffled collar, hand coloured mezzotint, the artist signed to the plate and dated 1792, the engraver signed in pencil to the lower margin, with framer's label verso, 25 by 20cm, in an ornate gilt frame with oval window, 37 by 33cm.Provenance: The Private Lincolnshire Estate of a Danish Family.
