Henry Collen (after Sir Thomas Lawrence) - half length portrait of a young girl with pearl necklace, watercolour on ivory signed and inscribed "copied from a picture by Sir Thomas Lawrence 1821-2, H. Collen", 16cm x 13cm (faults) Henry Collen (9 October 1797-8 May 1879) was a miniature portrait painter to Queen Victoria and the Duchess of Kent. Later in life he turned to photography and was on the cutting edge in photography in mid-19th Century in London. He had great technical expertise and ability to transfer his ideas and dated that he had gathered to new and different fields, such as painting and studies of light, optics and the science of photography.

Michele Albanesi (Italian, 1816-1878) - A portrait miniature of a girl, possibly Anna Salisbury, with her King Charles spaniel, signed and dated vertically centre left "M Albanesi 1848", watercolour, 9cm high There is an area of damage to the right of the sitter on the right-hand edge and also along the top edge.
John Adamson, RBA (Scottish, 1865-1918) Portrait of Sir William Adamson; and Portrait of Lady Adamson, oil on canvas, 75 x 62cm and 29 x 24cm (2) Sir William' Adamson was in Singapore, firstly with McEwen & Co., the Borneo Company, and later in Siam at the Consulate. He occupied posts in Singapore and with P & O, was President of the Chamber of Commerce in Singapore. Later with his two brothers he founded the firm of Adamson, Gilfillan & Wood. He retired to England in 1890.
