A WWII fleece lined leather flying jacket, with leather belt. Basically GC (some wear); together with a pathfinder gilt breast eagle with pin fitting, by Ludlow, London; details from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission of the former owner, Flying Officer Navigator Hugh Coker, aged 23, of 156 Sqdn RAFVR, whose aircraft was shot down near Ancerville in France on 15th July 1944 and who is buried in the Ancerville Communal Cemetery; a photograph of F/O Coker and the rest of the crew of his aircraft, all but one of whom were killed in the crash; 2 portraits, both of which show him as an Observer; 2 colour photographs of his grave, and a letter giving further information; also and Edwardian vesta box of bakelite type material, the front with photo portrait of a young lady (cracked and damaged). These items were consigned for sale by the daughter of F/O Coker’s fiancee.

Mainly studios in Somerset and Devon, some taken outside and some photo postcards together with a quantity of c.1920`s Stoke Courcy Parish Magazines (a lot) ++album in poor condition
Photographs - An album of topographical and portrait photographs, circa 1915-30, including Ashton Court Mansion and estate [Bristol], Urie House, Kincardineshire, and Meikleour House, Perthshire, the views including soldiers drilling in a mown hay field; a sack race; the ceremonial laying of a foundation stone (all Bristol area); an infant in a perambulator; a country show with fairground swing-boats; house interiors; the famous Meikleour beech hedge (two views); paddle-steamers on a loch; and a small quantity of continental and other views, of varying sizes, the album cover dated 1919.
Autographs - Thirteen signed real photographic and other portrait postcards, including Henry Irving (1838-1905), actor (2); John Martin-Harvey (1863-1944), actor (2); Dan Leno (1860-1904), music hall comedian (2); and Harry Lauder (1863-1944), entertainer; together with a hand-written covering note from Henry Irving, dated 1904 (`...with much pleasure / I have posted the cards...`), (14).
