Basically GC (some wear); together with a pathfinder gilt breast eagle with pin fitting, by Ludlow, London; details from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission of the former owner, Flying Officer Navigator Hugh Coker, aged 23, of 156 Sqdn RAFVR, whose aircraft was shot down near Ancerville in France on 15th July 1944 and who is buried in the Ancerville Communal Cemetery; a photograph of F/O Coker and the rest of the crew of his aircraft, all but one of whom were killed in the crash; 2 portraits, both of which show him as an Observer; 2 colour photographs of his grave, and a letter giving further information; also and Edwardian vesta box of bakelite type material, the front with photo portrait of a young lady (cracked and damaged). These items were consigned for sale by the daughter of F/O Coker’s fiancee.
