Three Grants woven silk calendar bookmarks for 1953 in different colours 24cm long a Thomas Stevens bookmark woven with a portrait of Spurgeon below the Holy Bible and another woven in bright colours with the Mail Coach 28.5cm long (5) Stevens of Coventry is usually accredited with inventing the technique of printing pictures in silk and indeed such pictures are widely known as Stevengraphs. W H Grant was slightly later in the field but marketed his silk pictures more forcefully
