An 18ct gold and ruby stylized eternity ring, in a rustic design, collet set with circular cut rubies, London 1970, ring size Q, gross weight 6.8 gms and a French marcasite and opal set circular pendant brooch, glazed to the centre with the portrait of a lady with flowers, with a case, (2).
French School (18th/19th century), Portrait of a lady, said to be Rosalie Lamorliere, oil on canvas, oval, 61cm x 45cm. IllustratedRosalie Lamorliere was a servant who cared for Marie Antoinette in the Conciergerie Prison, as the Queen awaited her trial and finally her execution during the reign of terror. Rosalie was later granted a life pension for her compassion and service to the Queen in her final days.
