Follower of Richard Cosway RA (1742 - 1840). An oval portrait miniature of a lady with lightly powdered hair falling to her shoulders in curls, wearing a white ruffled chemise fitted with a string of pearls to the shoulder, all set against a sky background within a gold frame and split pearl and blue enamelled ribbon border, the conforming pendant loop stamped with a shamrock, plaited hair to the reverse overlaid with initials GR, 5.9cm x 4.7cm c.1790.
