Riemersma Hayo-original painting of Tiger Woods on board signed and dated 1997, this notable painting was published and illustrated in the Playboy magazine in October 1997-canvas size 26" x 19", mounted and framed 28.75" x 21.75". Note: the portrait of Tiger Woods was one from a series of portraits of sportsmen, especially made for the Dutch edition of Playboy (other portraits were for instance of Henk Angenent, skating, and Jos Verstappen, formula-1 racing). Brief History: Hayo was Born in 1950 The Netherlands, since 1982 continues to live and work just north of Amsterdam. He studied from 1971-76 Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague and in 1982 graduated at the University of Amsterdam (History of Art) 1977-89 professor at the VL-VU Academy of Art, Amsterdam and from 1976 until now his works have been in many exhibitions in The Netherlands and abroad. Worn as a portrait profile on each cuff, when not in use the cufflinks may be combined to form a miniature bust securely displayed on the accompanying stand.
A 17th Century Oak Tester Bed Rail of Gloucestershire origin. The cavetto moulded cornice carved with foliate lunettes above a long panel centred by a reeded shield with protruding head & shoulder portrait and serpentine beasts with coiled scaly tails. Each end carved with protuberant grotesque face masks. 15½ ins x 55 ins (39 cms x 140 cms).
Cornelis de Vos (1585-1651) Attributed. A Fabulous 17th Century Oil on Oak Panel Circa 1628; Head & Shoulders Portrait of a young woman wearing a lace-edged ruff collar, 24 ins x 19 ins (61 cms x 48 cms). Mounted in an 18th century carved giltwood frame, 30 ins x 26 ins (76 cms x 66 cms) inclusive. Excellent condition. [Provenance: Verso has an old collection seal in red wax, probably 18th century. A 17th Century Oil on Canvas Circa 1685; Portrait of Elizabeth Pope, Countess of Lindsay in her state robes, 42¼ ins x 34 ins (108 cms x 56 cms) in a modern giltwood frame measuring 48 ins x 39½ ins (122 cms x 100 cms). [A similar portrait is illustrated in Painted Ladies. Women at the Court of Charles II, published by the National Portrait Gallery 2001, p.200]..

The oval canvas 22 ins x 19½ ins (56 cms x 50 cms), in a beaded & gadrooned cavetto moulded gilt frame with wrythen rosettes to the corners 30½ ins x 25½ ins (78 cms x 65 cms).
A Rare & Important 16th Century German Oak Romayne Panelled Coffer. The three plank top with sloped front & back planks above a row of six portrait roundels relief carved with protruding heads encompassed by laurel wreaths with foliate spandrels. The centre panel carved with a bold lion head; its open mouth housing the lock & key above a rectangular panel with an angel holding two crests beneath an arch. The four outer panels of layered linenfold above three horizontal panels of similar design and flanked by caryatid columns carved with clusters of fruit below. Raised on shaped plank feet. [Illustrated in Erbstücke, Thomas Schürmann, page.198 fig.123].
