Aged 5 years and 10 months when exhibited at the Smithfield Club Show, Christmas 1832 where he received the Silver Medal of the Society, neat weight 232 stone of 8lbs, loose fat 30 stone/Provenance: Apperley Court/see illustration Condition Report: Some slight rippling to top right corner of canvas. Overall in good original condition with surface dirt, unlined.
Follower of Sir Peter Lely/Portrait of a Lady/a posy in her right hand/oil on panel, 42cm x 32.5cm/Provenance: Private Collection, Wiltshire/see illustration Condition Report: This picture is painted on an oak panel and is late 17th century, I don't believe it to be by Lely but it is of that period. From a private collection in Wiltshire. There are no obvious signs of restoration and it looks good under UV light
