Pasted on notes to the back of the miniature indicate the portrait was taken in 1759 and that Dacre Hamilton was present at the Battle of Minden.
An oval porcelain plaque painted in oils with a half length portrait of Princess Charlotte, the reverse of the beaded gilt frame with paper label "Princess Charlotte" and another "copied by Mrs Warner?" In very good condition, the registered design gilt metal frame slightly dented and could benefit from a careful clean, otherwise no defects noted. plaque 7x9cm., frame 8.5x11.5cm.

A portrait miniature of a gentleman, his blue coat wth black collar, seascape behind with ship in distance, on ivory, 5.5 x 4.5 cm., in gold frame, glazed reverse of plaited hair centred with interlaced cut-out gold initials, later metal brooch fitting and suspension loop.
