19th century 4to album containing manuscript entries, watercolour and pencil sketches, and prints from 1830 onwards, and a collection of photographs of Euston Hall and Parsonage, and a portrait photograph of Lady Phipps (probably Countess of Mulgrave who died 1849). The photographs initialled MP on card mounts, possibly taken by Mary Phipps, daughter of the 5th Duke of Grafton, wife of rev. A F Phipps, rector of Euston and son of Henry Phipps, 1st Earl of Mulgrave. Research indicates the calotype photographs were taken around 1845-1850. A late 19th century Bohemian glass scent bottle, with enamel and gilt metal jewelled stopper, 13cm; together with a late 19th century glass scent bottle and stopper, having raised profile portrait plaque of a child within gilt scroll border, h.10.5cm (2) Condition Report / Extra Information Bohemian example - some fading to gilt metal, small chip to outside of base. Portrait bottle - major gilt wear to areas of body and stopper.
An early 19th century mourning jewel, the obverse as an English school portrait miniature of a gentleman wearing blue tunic and silk ruff, watercolour on ivory, in yellow metal mount, the reverse having plait of hair modelled as an ear of wheat, within a yellow metal and blue glass border, 8.5 x 7cm, all housed in ebonised frame Condition Report / Extra Information Minor paint losses to extremities at 4 o'clock. Further minor paint losses to coat collar. Miniature is grubby. Plait of hair with some loose parts. Glass good. Yellow metal mount good. Ebonised frame with minor handling wear, chipped top right corner.
Keith Woodcock, 20th century, Portrait of power, limited edition print no. 74/850, signed in pencil to the margin, with gallery blind stamp, 49.5 x 69cm, together with three Robert Taylor prints "The Dambusters", "Sea Fury M.I.G. Encounter" and "Duel of Eagles", the later signed Douglas Bader and Adolf Galland. (4) Condition Report / Extra Information Some fading to Bader signature. No apparent foxing or spotting.
