Provenance: Christie's, London, 7th July 1922, lot 82, from the collection of Ralph Brocklebank (deceased), late of Houghton Hall, Cheshire, sold for £31.10sh; Beasley collection, from Holywell Park, Wrotham, Kent. 10.10.35 according to an old label verso.
