A Victorian carved shell cameo brooch as a winged angel in pinchbeck surround (a/f); one other later example depicting profile portrait of maiden in 14ct gold mount; one other in yellow metal mount; together with one other in white metal and marcasite mount; together with a pair of carved shell cameo ear clips (5). Winged angel brooch – large crack through brooch on left side from 11-8 o’clock, small crack/break to edge at 12 o’clock, further crack from 4 o’clock into centre, incised mark to back, surround worn.Marcasite brooch - cameo is ill-fitting and gappy within mount, crack to left side 11-9 o’clock.14ct mounted brooch – small crack at 12 o’clock to top of bow, further crack to left side below hairline to shoulder and similar to opposite around nose and shoulder area.Small cameo – no apparent faults.Pair of earrings – crack from nose to shoulder of one, small chip to the edge of the other.

19TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL SCHOOL "Women Playing Harp", portrait miniature on ivory panel, unsigned, in ebonised oval frame CONDITION REPORTS There appears to be some areas of discolouration and staining mainly to the edge, possibly some fading in areas, accretions and some small foreign objects on the inside of the glass. Some light surface scratches. No obvious areas of paint loss or restoration. There is a chip to the outer edge of the frame and also the frame has old worm in places. Item has general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details.
