A pair of Continental porcelain rectangular plaques, late 19th/early 20th Century, painted by Alexandre Soustre, signed, each with half-length bust portrait of a semi-clad maiden, after Angelo Asti, signed 'A. Soustre Apres Asti' to lower right corners, approx 30cm x 21.5cm, framed. Note: Alexandre Soustre (active 1845-1910) was a French porcelain painter who worked for Limoges and other French porcelain manufacturers.
A Doulton Lambeth stoneware 'Emin Pasha Relief Expedition 1887-1889' commemorative jug, relief moulded with a titled portrait of H.M. Stanley above text, flanked by vignettes titled 'Valour' and 'Enterprise', above officers names, impressed and incised marks to base, height approx 19.5cm (repaired handle), together with two Doulton stoneware plain half pint mugs (one with rim chip).
A Victorian silver two-piece waist belt buckle commemorating the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria, one detailed 1837 with a young head portrait of Victoria, the other detailed 1897 with an old head portrait of Victoria, each within pierced scroll decoration, Chester 1896 by Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings Shepherd, width approx 10.5cm.
Macintyre & Co; a commemorative pen rest 'The Absent-Minded Beggar - Rudyard Kipling', with portrait of gentleman in khaki to the front and with Rudyard Kipling text to reverse, width 9cm. CONDITION REPORT There are quite a few minor nibbles particularly around the edges but nothing of major detriment to the piece.
A mid 18th century French silver oval pendant centred with the portrait miniature of a young woman within a cultured pearl and bead decorated border with marks for Julien Berthe, c1750-1756 suspended on a seed cultured pearl set removable upper bracket, reverse of case engraved with initials 'J.A.' overall length 6.8cm.

London: 1810. 2 vols., 8vo (210 x 123mm.) 2 engraved portrait frontispieces. (Light browning, some spotting and offsetting.) Contemporary speckled-calf, spine gilt in six compartments with raised bands, lettering pieces to the second and third, the others with repeat decoration in gilt (extremities lightly rubbed, minor scorch marks to spines). Provenance: Christopher Turnor (armorial bookplate 'Stoke Rochford Library' to front pastedown). - And fifteen other leather-bound volumes (17).

London: [n.d. but circa 1925.] Limited edition of 540 copies, this number 9, 8vo (223 x 145mm.) Portrait frontispiece. (Occasional spotting.) Original cloth (head and foot of spine bumped), dust-jacket (creased and torn with minor loss). Provenance: 'Niss' (presentation inscription to front-free endpaper 'To dear Niss, with the author's love, Xmas 1925'). Note: signed by the author below frontispiece.

(extremities lightly bumped and scuffed, spines slightly darkened).
