Blunt and has received his note and returns his thanks for the sermon which he has been so kind as to send him.” Framed and matted with a portrait of the Duke engraved by H.T. Ryall after the Claudet daguerreotype. Overall dimensions 17.25 x 21. 2 inches (44 x 54cm). Moody"; a portrait of James Malley and five portraits of distinguished gentlemen, possibly statesmen, with photographer`s backstamps including Gardner, Mendenhall and Tyrell; plus other images. 21 contained in a period leather pocket album, together with a leather cased notebook gilt inscribed "My Trip", circa 1900 with 13 handwritten pages describing a train trip east.
