A handpainted Minton plaque by James Edwin Dean a portrait of the racehorse `Solario`, oil on porcelain, signed J E Dean and dated 1926, 10in (25.5cm) diameter. * Solario (1922-45) was winner of the St. Leger in 1925, and the Ascot Gold Cup and Epsom Coronation Cup in 1926, in partnership with the jockey Joe Childs.
