An early 19th Century Chinese ivory twin handled vase and cover, with all over carved decoration of figures, in a hierarchical structure with domestic figures to lower section rising through figures in pagodas, seated at tables, women and men with fans to the upper section depicting people at play including girl on swing towards two neck decorated panels of sages with gourds and travellers, flanked by two lion mask handles supporting circular rings, the lid with carved shell and fish and vase below a pierced pagoda decorated with figures, the base having wax seal on a hardwood inlaid stand, 56 cm max highThe pagoda scene on the top of the vase cover measures 11cm. Diameter of cover 12.5cm. The carving on the main vase of the rim to the floral motifs measures 9.5cm. The pagoda scene on the main vase measures 26cm. The diameter of the vase is 12.5cm. The vase would benefit from a clean.The cover has several small spots of discolouration and a crack to the underside of a pagoda and downwards. Scratches to the base. Several figures have scuffs to their heads although there is no apparent breakage.The jug has a hairline crack through the donkey scene. Large scuffs and a hairline crack to the rim. Several figures, trees and animals have scuffs and rubbing to their features but very few are structurally damaged. Large chip to one of the divisional bands. Areas of residue and fabric caught in the decoration. Large crack and scratches to the base. A wax seal is present on the base but is indiscernible. The interior of the vase is heavily discoloured and there is a Jefferson Wartime Nickel (first portrait) coin stuck to the inside.

Mersad Berber (1940-2012) Bosnian, oil on canvas, portrait study young girl with flowers, framed and glazed, 30 cm x 20 cmThere are areas of scratching and rubbing to the sections of paintwork surrounding the frame. Areas of canvas are visible underneath the paint (however we believe this be intentionally done by the artist). The back of the canvas is clean. There are no signs of restoration or flaking of paint to the main image. Overall in good condition. the frame is heavily scratched, with multiple chips and flaking paint, it appears to have originally been red but has been over painted in gold.

After Leo Whelan RHA (1892-1956) Portrait of Michael Collins A colour lithographic print of the 1922 portrait by Leo Whelan, published by Walton's Music Shop in 1972 to mark the 50th anniversary of his death, framed. 24 by 17in. (61 by 43.2cm) The original painting is owned by the Walton family, who were supporters of the republican movement and Martin Walton was interned in Ballykinlar in 1921 where he formed a prisoners' orchestra. Later they would support Michael Collins and the Treaty side. Although 1,000 of these prints were supposedly ordered in 1972 for Collins' Anniversary it is believed that many fewer are actually in existence.

Published by Hullmandle and Walton, Lithographers, 51 Great Marlborough Street; together with an oval pastel portrait of a brown haired gentleman in a blue coat; and a sketch of a waiter offering a glass of wine saying, 'Who gave you that jolly red nose?' in English and Irish.
