We would estimate there to be around 200 photographs. The overall condition of the photographs is good. They have been well looked after and they do not appear to have been left out in the sun. Some of the photographs are dog eared and show some handling use, but overall good.

STUART DEVLIN for CRAWFORD & GILBEY; a framed silver commemorative plate inscribed "Grundy 1975" with a central plaque portrait of horse and rider, also inscribed other races won by the horse in 1975, he was Racehorse of the Year 1975, and famous for his victory over Bustino in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes, he died in 1992, plate diameter 22.5cm, frame 42 x 42cm, framed and glazed.
An Edwardian hallmarked silver hatpin, the articulated head bearing a head and shoulder relief portrait of Emmeline Pankhurst, dated 1909, surrounded by the motto "E Pluribus Unum" (Out of many, one), the motto of the USA found on American coins, possibly having been made for Pankhurst's lecture tour of America in 1909, and edged with fourteen stars, probably in remembrance of the first fourteen suffragette hunger strikers in that year, Arthur Johnson Smith, Birmingham 1909, diameter of hatpin head 3.5cm.
