A 17th Century Mortuary Sword, the 98cm double edge steel blade stamped with a cruciform motif to each side, the steel hilt pierced and well chiseled with portrait heads, fruit and foliage within strapwork borders, the grip bound with three different gauges of wire, with large foliate sheathed urn pommel.
