English School (early 19th century): miniature portrait of a gentleman, bust length, wearing a blue jacket and white stock, 6.5cm by 5cm, the reverse with a lock of hair and indistinctly inscribed and dated 1805; and another, as a gentleman wearing a black jacket and white stock, 5cm by 4cm, the reverse inscribed Dobson Dublin 1804 (2)First with area of discolouration and splitting to right hand side. Both glasses damaged. Paper label stained. Minor minor wear. Second with typical wear and scratching to frame. Both not examined out of frame. 161116
