Portrait of Young Man Smoking a Pipe, attributed to Owen Dalziel (British 1861-1942). Pencil drawing on card. Image size 8.5" x 6.5" (21 cm x 16 cm), framed 15" x 13" (37 cm x 32 cm). Signed 'Dalziel' verso to card. Inscribed in a later hand, Taken from an album of sketches done aboard a sailing ship in 1900. Housed in period arts and craft foliate gilt frame with later card mount. Together with three others.
1000 Years of British Monarchy Silver Ingot Set - 115 ozs Sterling Silver. Set of 50 hall marked and serial numbered sterling silver ingots. Created by the distinguished John Pinches (medalist) Ltd London and minted by the Wellings mint. Each ingot is detailed with a portrait of the British ruler and significant scenes during their reign. The reverse side of each ingot bears the name, dates and titling of the scenes depicted. Each ingot in the collection measures 44 x 22 mm and weight 2.3 troy oz. A total of 115 troy oz. The collection is finely preserved in excellent condition in a handsome deluxe lined solid wood display chest. Comes with certification.

(d) 'Portrait of Alan Beale' oil on canvas 76cm x 51cm (30in x 20in) unframed Footnote: Robert Hughes (1938-2012) was an Australian born art critic, writer and producer of television documentaries. His book and television series "Modern Art - The Shock of the New" earned him widespread recognition. His best seller "The Fatal Shore" (published 1987) was a study of the British Penal Colonies and an early history of Australia. In his early life in Sydney he was an inspiring artist and poet and a friend of the vendor, to whom he gave these two pictures. CR* Tears and paint loss to canvas.

FOUR GRAND NATIONAL ARCHERY MEETING MEDALS FORMED AS A SILVER BRACELET, 1852-83 the medals from Leamington 1852, Leamington 1853, Shrewsbury 1854, and Cheltenham 1856, each depicting a female portrait bust, and a target with crossed arrows encircled by a wreath on the other, the medals connected by short chains, the final medal carrying a small clip, the 1853 Leamington medal with a raised convex surface for receiving the clip, inscribed 'Bessie Garnett, from her father, May 21st 1883', 18.0 cm The text around the edges of the medals states: Leamington 1853: Third Gross ScoreShrewsbury 1854: Sixth Gross ScoreLeamington 1852: Seventh Gross Score & Hits: C.
