CULLUM John, History and Antiquities of Hawstead and Hardwick in the County of Suffolk, London 1813, 2nd edition, folio. Only 230 copies of this edition were printed, this is one of 30 of those which were on large paper. This edition was corrected by the author with notes by his brother Sir Thomas-Gery Cullum. This unique copy has the bookplate of Gery Milner-Gibson-Cullum, Hardwicke House. In addition to the portrait, 10 plates and 6 folding pedigrees called for, it includes 4 additional plates, an original watercolour of Hawstead House, and 5 other drawings. Loose with it is a long original mss letter from Sir Thomas Gery Cullum to Arethusa, Lady Harland. Front board detached but contents sound and clean (1)

Lemuel Gulliver, vol III, London 1727, 8vo full contemporary calf, frontisplate, 2 parts in one volume, the first covering Second Voyage to Brobdingnag and Voyage to Sporanda, the Second Voyage to Sevarambia, each part separately paginated (3) Condition Report / Extra Information In some stage of the books history someone has pencilled '? Teerinks A' at the front of volume I and '2nd issue of 1st edition' at front of volume II. We believe that it is a mixed set. All volumes are complete and nothing appears to be missing. No major defects noted.

Julia M Levy (19th century) - Half length portrait of a young girl, oil on canvas laid on board, signed lower right, 44 x 34cm Condition Report / Extra Information Frame measures 62 x 52cm. Painting has been fully restored. UV light shows significant overpainting all over, although very little to face of girl. Significantly varnished. Paint good and stable.
