William Albert Clark (1899-1936), portrait of a prize Heifer in a field, signed oil dated 1917, label verso 'Windsor Gem', 34cm x 51.5cm, modern gilt frame. It is also notable that it won the Hundred Guinea Plate at the Smithfield Fatstock Show in 1915. It was owned by the King and was subsequently sold at the Perth Sales in Scotland. Its likely that this picture was commissioned after this success. ***AMENDED DESCRIPTION***
