Late 19th/early 20th Century Continental School - Oval Miniature Head and Shoulders Portrait of a Gentleman in Uniform, and Oval Miniature Half Length Portrait of a Lady, a pair of watercolours on ivory, both within gilt metal frames with ribbon, bow and garland surmounts stamped 'M.W. Carr & Co' verso.

A KPM Berlin porcelain rectangular plaque, late 19th Century, painted with a half length Northern Renaissance style portrait of an elegant lady wearing a green jacket and high collar, clutching a bouquet of roses, impressed mark to reverse with script annotations in pencil, approx 23.5cm by 16cm, held within a gilt gesso frame.

John Abraham was the grandson of Quakers Thomas & Margaret Fell and the portrait is being sold together with a book on Margaret Fell in which there is a photograph of the painting hung over the fireplace at Swarthmoor Hall.

Lowry, signed, oil on board, 40.5 x 30cm.; 16 x 12in. * Painter who was born and lived in Wigan, Lancashire, where he ran the Isherwood Gallery. Studied at Wigan School of Art (1934 - 53). Isherwood travelled extensively and had over 200 shows, including colleges at Oxford and Cambridge Universities. Churchill and Pembroke Colleges in Cambridge hold his work.
