Provenance : Complete with letter dated Dec.6th 1992 from the artist relating to the picture, apparently painted 1964-1966 in the Studio of the Coach House, 7 Hardy Road, Blackheath, making reference to the model - "Dumb girl, brother golf pro., she fainted - malnutrition and exhaustion", etc. Exhibited at the Millinery Works, London, November 1991, and also at Southampton Art Gallery (unknown date). Illustrated on Page 92 of the biography - "Bratby", by Peter Davies, published November 2002 by Old Bakehouse Publications
