A late Victorian silver `Charley`s Aunt` vesta case, the front decorated in relief with a portrait, the reverse inscribed `From Charley`s Aunt, Dec 21st 1895`, Sheffield 1895 by Walker & Hall, length approx 4.5cm. Note: This silver souvenir vesta was distributed to the audience of the London Globe Theatre on 21st December 1895 to commemorate the plays third anniversary performance of Brandon Thomas`s highly successful farce `Charley`s Aunt`, the portrait is based on a photograph of W.S Penley, the actor who created the role.

A rare set of twelve Royal Doulton Gibson Girl head plates, post 1901, each printed in black with a girl`s portrait and facsimile Charles Dana Gibson signature, within a border of blue and white lovers` knots and hearts, black printed factory marks to bases, diameter approx 23.5cm (one restored).
A blue Jasper dip portrait medallion, 19th Century, of oval shape sprigged in white with a profile bust of a gentleman, unmarked, length approx 6.5cm (chips) held within a gilt metal frame, probably French, with blue enamelled flowerhead detail and foliate scroll spandrels and surmount (faults).
A George III ivory oblong toothpick box, early 19th century, the cover mounted with a hardstone cameo portrait of a lady, the interior with a mirror and a velvet lined base, 9.2cm (3 5/8in) long; an old note inside reads `Cameo of Lady Sarah Napier given to Lady Albert Seymour by her aunt Mrs. Bunbury` . Please note amendment to description: Incised "Sarah Lenox" to top of cameo and initials "A N" to the bottom right.

After Sir Anthony Van Dyck, Portrait of Charles I, Titled verso `Charles 1st. A Copy from Van dyck by Mr. Herman of Bruxelles`, 12cm x 10cm, In a chased gilt metal frame engraved `CR` to the cartouche, It has been suggested the artist could be Wilhelm Herman. A detail from `Charles I at the Hunt` of circa 1635 in the Louvre.
Philip Augustus Barnard (fl. 1840-1884), Portrait of Captain Archibald W. M. Kerr, 39th Regiment Madras Native Infantry, Signed middle right, Titled to an old label verso, 8cm x 6.5cm, oval, In a bird`s eye maple cushion frame. The 39th Regiment was raised as the 1st Extra Battalion Madras Native Infantry in 1803. In 1804 it became 1st Battalion of the 20th Regiment and in 1824 became 39th, Regiment being disbanded in 1882.
Circle of William Larkin, English school Oil on canvas c. 1625, portrait of a noblewoman probably Frances Carr (nee Howard) Duchess of Somerset. This may be the only second known portrait of this important sitter and, if so, must have been painted after her release from the Tower in 1622 following her pardon for the murder of Sir Thomas Overbury. Relined, some old restoration. The heavy jewelled adornment testifies to the very high status of the sitter of this portrait., 24'' x 29''
