Taylor, when she was thirteen years and four months olde (sic), 26th September, 1838', the second inscribed verso 'George Frederick Webb, taken by H.Taylor, 26th September, 1838, a few days before he was twenty-one' each pencil, watercolour and gouache, each oval s.8.5 x 7 cm (3 1/4 x 2 3/4 in) each framed in a ebonised turned frame with a verre eglomise mount. Also included with this lot is a framed birth certificate for Hannah Webb, dated 1825, and a collection of documents related to the Webb (and other) families.
