Manner of Gainsborough Dupont, (circa 1754-1797), landscape with figures, charcoal heightened with white chalk, on paper, together with two others by the same hand, largest 14 x 19cm (3). Gainsborough Dupont was the nephew and thought to be the only recorded pupil of Thomas Gainsborough, who went on to become an established portrait painter in his own right

A 19th century yellow metal ring, the hinge top disguised as an envelope opening to reveal miniature portrait, together with early 19th century yellow metal mourning brooch, gross weight 5.3g, ring size Q (2) Condition Report / Extra Information Ring does not have any apparent hallmarks, hence the 'yellow metal' description, misshapen and with scratches, very thin, portrait not under glass, portrait with paint losses to neck and top of head.Locket with presentation inscription verso dated 1823.

A.R.C.A (Lond) (1905-1991) - 'Dubrovnik to Cavtat', signed Sanders, also inscribed with the title and the artist's name verso, together with the remains of an exhibition label, oil on canvas, 24" x 28" *Provenance: with E.Stacey-Marks Ltd., of Terminus Road, Eastbourne, Sussex, 27th March 1990 *The artist was born near Wakefield, Yorkshire and studied at Wakefield Art School as well as at Leeds Art School, he married the painter Barbara L.Stubbs. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, and at the Paris Salon where he won a gold medal in 1955. Louis Turpin (b.1947) - 'A Place for Butterflies', signed, also inscribed verso with the title, oil on canvas, 24" x 16" **Provenance: Beaux Arts, York Street, Bath BA1 1NG, 1985. Sold together with a copy of the original receipt the price being £300, a copy of a press cutting from the Daily Telegraph giving biographical details on the painter and his long association with both art and music. He attended Falmouth Art School and specialised in painting and film, he lives in East Sussex and his near neighbour is Paul McCartney, his passion for both art, music and horticulture is both exciting and inspiring. The artist has exhibited at The Royal Academy, The National Portrait Gallery, and The Royal Society of Portrait Painters, he has a great many pictures in public and private collections and regularly shows at The Fosse Gallery, The Rye Art Gallery, and The Bohun Gallery in Henley-on-Thames. MANCHESTER UNITED Two rare pre-Munich (mid 50s) original round plastic badges which were the fore-runners of the star badges which are very popular among collectors. These two badges are even more scarce then the star badges and the players featured are Duncan Edwards and Tommy Taylor who both sadly passed away at Munich. The badges are circular with a metal pin clasp on the reverse with a head and shoulders portrait of the player on the front inside a circular surround detailed Manchester United Football Club in red and white.
