An early 20th Century gilt brass cased carriage clock with eight day movement repeating on a gong, the ivory dial with Arabic numerals, within a pierced and engraved gilt metal scrollwork frame, the glazed case with swing handle above four fluted and turned pillars, the side panels inset with oval head and shoulders portrait miniatures of ladies, within an engraved gilt metal surround, on a plinth base and bracket feet, height approx 13.5cm.
A small Worcester porcelain bell shaped King of Prussia mug, circa 1757, printed in black with a half length titled portrait of the King beside military trophies issuing banners listing victories, the reverse with Fame blowing trumpets, height approx 8.3cm (fine hairline above upper handle terminal).
A George III oval needlework panel depicting four figures on a river bank, a village beyond, worked with monochrome black thread in long and short stitch, within a verre églomisé mount, approx 13cm x 16cm, and a wooden frame, together with a 19th Century carved lava cameo portrait, within a rosewood frame.
Five Doulton Lambeth stoneware commemorative jugs, variously moulded, printed and slip trailed, for General Gordon; Emin Pasha Relief Expedition 1887-1889, with a portrait of H. M. Stanley; Cardinal Manning; National Rifle Association 1860-89, Last Meeting at Wimbledon; and for Joseph Chamberlain, with a plain silver mount, London 1903, a portrait and his quote `What I Have Said I Have Said I Withdraw Nothing` and `Birmingham January 11th 1902`, impressed marks 23cm high and smaller.
[George V Coronation 1911] A collection of Royal Doulton Lambeth commemorative stoneware, variously moulded and printed, comprising: two jugs, three beakers and a mug, impressed marks, 19cm high and smaller; a Doulton Burslem beaker for the same coronation, 10cm high; and a Doulton Lambeth stoneware twin handled cup, for the investiture of Edward, Prince of Wales, with a titled portrait and Caernarvon Castle verso, impressed marks, 18.5cm high (8).

A Doulton Lambeth Worlds Columbian Exposition commemorative salt-glaze stoneware jug, circa 1893, cameo portrait reserves of Christopher Columbus and George Washington with an applied spread eagle, impressed factory marks to base, no. 8386, 18.5cm high; and two Doulton Lambeth stoneware Christopher Columbus jugs, portrait of a ship and `Christopher Columbus Sighted America October 12 1492`, impressed marks, no. 8388, 22cm high.
EDWIN D. SMITH. Portrait of a Gentleman, quarter-length, said to be a member of the 14th Light Dragoons, bears later inscription `14th Light Dragoons, d. Meerut,1851`, watercolour, oval, 10 x 7 1/2 in; a pen and ink caricature, monogrammed `G.B` depicting a member of The Royal Welch Fusiliers; and a colour print after H. Martens depicting the 2nd Royal North British Dragoons (3)

Autograph – Royalty group of pieces including a b&w portrait of the Queen and Prince Philip signed to mount and dated 1980 – this has been damaged with abrasion across the signatures which nevertheless remain clear – a facsimile of an autograph letter signed by Queen Alexandra sent in the wake of the death of Edward VII and three other pieces.
India and the Punjab Maharajah Duleep Singh – Important portrait of Maharajah Duleep Singh c1850 – Lahore Measures 7cm high – framed with ‘Maharaj Duleep Singh’ inscribed on the reverse. A similar scene of the boy Maharajah can be seen in Musee National des Arts Asiatiques-Guimet France. The exceptional quality of this portrait indicates it may have been painted by a European artist. Duleep Singh the last Sikh sovereign was the son of the legendry Sikh Emperor Maharajah Ranjit Singh. Provenance – formally in a Scottish collection.
India and the Punjab – Sikh wars – Life of Lord Lawrence 2 Vols by Captain Lionel J Trotter. London 1883 half-leather 1st ed published in England just four years after his death (1811-1879) a biography of Lord John Lawrence. Volume 1. pp.xiii 536 with portrait and folding map of the Punjab. Lawrence`s first years in the Indian civil service were in Delhi. Then he moved to Punjab as Lieutenant-Governor where he founded British rule First American edition. 2 vols 8vo 2 portrait frontispieces a colour map of Delhi 1857 & a large folding colour map of the Punjab and adjoining countries. Very good leather bound 2 volume set with minor edge wear. Gilt titles and black leather label to spine.
