An early 19th century silhouette portrait of a boy standing holding a hoop, 16 x 12cm, mounted in a rosewood frame, frame size 23 x 19cm, various names and inscriptions to the wooden board on the reverse, to include artist's name 'Mr J. Moore of Nottingham', also 'John Jackson of Ashworth' and a different indistinct address further down 'Eccles Old Road, Pendleton Aged 8' with possible date, together with a small pen and ink of a naive drawn steam paddle boat, on blue water, 10 x 11cm, framed, frame size 18.5 x 20cm (2).

ASSORTED COLLECTABLES comprising two ambrotype portrait photographs, each 5.5cm x 4.25cm (oval), uniformly framed and glazed; four potlids, including one depicting a rifle contest at Wimbledon, three of them framed; an early 19th century silkwork picture of a young lady, 22.5cm x 16.5cm (oval), framed and glazed (face area torn and frayed; foxed); an R.A.C. badge (enamel chipped); and a lignum vitae ink well, with screw top, overall 5.5cm high, (9).

The English Hero: or Sir Francis Drake Reviv'd, fifteenth edition, for Hitch and Hodges, London, 1756, full leather, portrait frontispiece, four-page 'Catalogue of Chapmens Books', duodecimo (14.5cm x 8.5cm). Condition Report : Covers rubbed, with worn and rounded corners; upper joint with split ends but board holding firm; frontispiece torn, with loss to upper fore edge corner, not affecting main image; worm and other wear to upper fore edge page corners, notably towards rear, with some losses to text; pagination erratic, with some printing errors and a gap from 90 to 115, without obvious loss.
