His sculpture is heavily influenced by the bright colours and smooth, flawless finish of plastic toys.He has been commissioned for several major public art projects including Citizen Firefighter, 2001, outside Glasgow’s Central Station, Youth with split apple, 2005 for Kings College, Aberdeen and iGoat, 2010 in Spitalfields, London. He has also exhibited extensively both in Britain and abroad, and is represented by Galerie Scheffel in Germany and Connersmith in the USA.

Famous motor trials hill, CARS GOING UP HILL. On cliffs at Mullion. After that the cameraman fell sick so no more. May brought a touch of summer. Garden - Dogs, bird, tortoise. July - Down Dorset for a holiday. Through Wareham & Stoborough. Rough tracks bring Middlebere farm into sight. Nearby was a caravan. Arms of Poole harbour were all around. The days began with an open air breakfast, then came camp duties. Perhaps some sun- bathing or maybe a day by the sea. Stillness of evening. August - a visit to Pud's camp at Scotland farm near Corfe. The farmhouse is two hundred years old. Creech barrow nearby provides some fine views. Small reels, 1-24 are some negative: and some positive pieces of perhaps experimentals of trick photography and titling. Also the remainders of film that were not used in the larger reels.

He first moved to London in 1963 to study Law, but later began a career in the arts. He is a successful artist and important commissions include his busts of former Jamaican Prime Minister Sir Alexander Bustamante, the cricketer Gary Sobers, the writer and historian C L R James, the politician Lord Pitt, and the writer and publisher John La Rose. Lloyd is an author of books for children and teenagers. His novel 'Many Rivers to Cross' (1995) was nominated for the Carnegie Medal, and he has also worked as a successful book illustrator. Lloyd was a key contributor to the Caribbean Artists' Movement and has supported many other organisations such as the Minorities' Arts Advisory Service.Condition ReportFramed size: 33 x 25.5cmUnexamined out of glazed frame, time staining to the sheet, it has slipped in mount slightly to right showing this lighter patch on left edge, no other obvious condition issues.
