A Small Quantity of Jet Jewellery, including; a jet pendant, with a portrait inlaid, measures 3.6cm by 5.3cm; a jet brooch, of wheel form, with a cameo overlaid centrally, measures 4.3cm in diameter; a pair of jet earrings with a cameo inlaid, length 5.6cm; and a pair of jet earrings with portraits inlaid, length 5.5cm . A Victorian Agate Cameo Pendant, depicting a portrait of a lady, in a rope effect frame, measures 4.2cm by 6.2cm, in a fitted case . It was purchased from St James Antiques, Manchester on Jan 26 1995 for £1470. The pendant is in very good condition. Gross weight 34.1 grams. CR made 15th August 2019

18th century portrait of William Seymour, 3rd Duke of Somerset 1652 -1671 in Roman armour titled unsigned oil on canvas, 115cm x 91cm . Has been cut- see image. Apart from the very visible damage no obvious signs of damage in the UV light. Various scuffs and damage to paint work apart from obvious damage.
By or after Edward Bird (1772-1819) Portrait of an Actor. Oil on canvas. Signed on the stretcher verso with inscription below ‘Relined 1887’. Later inscription suggests it is a portrait of John Henderson (1747-1785) as Macbeth however Edmund Kean (1789-1833) is more likely the subject. 61cm x 72cm..
