19th century French School, oil on canvas, Portrait of a lady, 64 x 48cmCONDITION: Canvas is not stretched just sitting loose inside the frame therefore will need re-stretching and possibly relining, paint rather dirty with a number of small punctured holes notably at 6 and 9 o'clock, otherwise minor scuffing, no sign of any inscription, looks to be 19th century with possibly later embellishments, housed in an ornate gilt gesso frame which is in fair to good order.

A SEATED THREE QUARTER LENGTH PORTRAIT OF A FEMALE FIGURE, signed and dated George Kirton? 1937, pastel on paper, pierced edge frame, approximate size 75cm x 62cm (condition:- frame is damaged, paper is warped within the frame) Condition Report The visible specks are on the glass, however there is an area of the face touching the glass, we assume that the marks in that area are also on the glass but without removing the picture we can't be certain. It is prudent to assume that due to the age of the drawing there will be some deterioration of the paper
