A well engineered 5inch gauge model of LNER B1 ‘Mayflower’ 4-6-0 locomotive and tender built to Martin Evans designs in 1994 with silver soldered superheated copper boiler water feed by injector mechanical feed pump with by-pass and auxiliary hand pump to tender outside cylinders Walschaert’s valve gear with reverser in cab mechanical lubricator drain cocks operated from cab.. Boiler history: Boiler test certificate by Farncare. Number F1/319/2C valid until the 14th of June 2006. Also Southern Federation of Model Engineer’s certificate No 9914 with history at November 1998 and March 2002.
An exhibition standard 5in gauge GWR 14xx tank locomotive built in 1992 by Mr Wood to Neville Evans ‘Didcot’ designs. The silver soldered copper superheated boiler with Belpaire firebox boiler feed by injector axle pump with by-pass and auxiliary hand pump in bunker. Inside cylinders with Stephensons valve gear actuated by screw reverse in cab drain cocks lever is operated from the cab. The locomotive finely detailed with lamp irons shed and works plates cab plate screw coupling authentic rivet detail to bunker and tanks. Finished in semi-gloss stove enamelled Great Western livery. Complete with set of original builder’s drawings. This model was built from Reeves castings and is not of kit type construction. Boiler history. Original Southern Federation certificate No 4120 issued in 1993 on completion and subsequent re-test in 1995. Tested November 2005. Farncare certificate F1/555/2005. Valid until 1st November 2007.

Boiler feed by twin injectors and auxiliary hand pump in side tank. Outside cylinders with Stephenson’s valve gear actuated by pole reverser in cab drain cocks lever operated from cab. The locomotive is highly detailed with lamp irons screw couplings comprehensively fitted scale backhead prototypical sight feed lubricator in cab rivet detail to bunker and tanks. Finished in Great Western livery. Boiler certificate F1/289/2004. Haudraulic test pressure 135psi. Working pressure 90psi. Certificate valid until 22nd of May 2006.
A well engineered 5in gauge model of an 0-4-0 Narrow gauge locomotive ‘Friar Tuck’ built to the design of ‘Sweet Pea’ from drawings by Jack Buckler. The silver soldered copper boiler of marine type with sight glass pressure gauge twin safety valves poppet regulator. Chassis fittings including twin outside cylinders 1 1/2in bore x 2in stroke Hackworth valve gear slide valve cylinders axle pump with by-pass hand feed pump and brakes fitted to two wheels. The locomotive comes complete with foot and seated driving wagons. Locomotive 31 1/4in long. Past boiler history includes original test certificate No 1812 from Buckler Bros Ltd Morley Leeds. Hydraulic test 160 psi. working test 80 psi. and dated the 16th December 1981. Also Bristol ME boiler test certificate No 21490 Expired 28th March 1994. The locomotive has been run on a private garden railway until November 2005. Some further history comes with the locomotive.

Expired the 24th of May 2002.
