The ceramic body marked at the base with an eagle surmounted H&H, 23cm This is a rare variant of a much reproduced Dr Christopher Dresser design, it is also unusual to be marked as H&H on the ceramic. Some crazing, tarnishing to silver. Condition report: Overall good condition with some crazing to body, spout and around the handle. Tarnishing to the silver. Clear hallmarks. Approximately 24cm H x 29cm W x 15cm D

Lot 235

A selection late 19th and early 20th century silver mounted dressing table wares, including four cut glass containers all having embossed silver screw-off covers with marks for Birmingham and London, 1903 and makers Thomas Hayes and Henry Charles Freeman, the others with indistinct makers marks, an embossed hand-held mirror with marks for Chester 1905, maker possibly William Needham etc. Condition report: General wear consistent with age and use. Some dents and wear to silver covers and some covers are not secure. Some small dents to clothes brush but otherwise in good condition. Surface wear, small dents and scratches to button hook handle. Some rubbed through holes to back of mirror, dents to rim and silver is pulled away from mirror in places.
